Report wrongdoing
How to seek confidential advice, discuss a concern internally or report suspected work-related wrongdoing directly to an external authority.
Who this is for
This information is for people who suspect wrongdoing through their work at or with TovoT B.V., including employees, former employees, contractors, trainees, applicants and supplier staff. An ordinary service complaint or individual employment dispute is not automatically wrongdoing covered by the Dutch Whistleblower Protection Act (Wbk).
TovoT currently has fewer than 50 workers. Government guidance distinguishes the duty to establish a full internal procedure by workforce size and specified sector exceptions. This page describes our current reporting options; it is not a certification statement or a claim that we operate an independent internal reporting office.
Get confidential advice first
You may seek confidential advice from the Advice department of the Dutch Whistleblowers Authority, a lawyer or a trade union without permission from TovoT. The Authority’s advice is free. Asking for advice is not the same as submitting a formal report.
The Dutch Whistleblowers Authority is an independent public body, not a service provider appointed by TovoT. It decides whether and how it can assist you.
Report directly to an external authority
You do not have to report internally first or obtain permission from TovoT. You may report suspected wrongdoing directly to the competent authority. The appropriate body depends on the subject. The Advice department of the Dutch Whistleblowers Authority can help identify the right route.
If no other supervisory or competent authority is responsible, the Dutch Whistleblowers Authority may assess a report within its statutory remit. Follow the official instructions on the linked page. A report does not automatically result in an investigation.
Optional internal discussion
If you wish to discuss a concern within TovoT first, you may ask Robin van der Heide directly for a personal meeting. If you do not have direct contact details, call the general number +31 85 060 48 77 only to arrange an appointment; do not disclose sensitive details to a general recipient. Agree with Robin how information can be shared securely and who may access it.
This route goes through management and is not an independent or anonymous reporting office. If your concern involves Robin, there is a conflict of interest or discussing it internally feels unsafe, use the independent advice route or report directly externally. Internal discussion is never a prerequisite for external reporting.
Protection and careful handling of information
TovoT does not tolerate retaliation, threats or obstruction because of a responsible report. Statutory protection applies when the conditions of the Wbk are met; having fewer than 50 workers does not remove that protection. People assisting a reporter and associated third parties may also be protected.
Base your report on reasonable grounds from your work context. Distinguish facts from suspicions and do not obtain information through unauthorised access. Public disclosure, for example on social media, has different protection conditions from reporting to a competent authority. Seek advice if unsure.
TovoT handles received information confidentially. We restrict access to what is necessary for careful follow-up and do not disclose your identity without consent except where required by law. We agree secure communication and keep information no longer than necessary. You can also seek help from the Dutch Whistleblowers Authority about retaliation.
Choose the right route
This webpage does not collect reports or attachments. Our general contact form, support tickets, incident portal and [email protected] have not been designated as an independent whistleblowing channel. Ordinary email and our general telephone number do not guarantee anonymity.
For a technical vulnerability, use the separate “Report a vulnerability” page. For work-related wrongdoing, choose one of the routes above.
