The project
For Den Hartog Zero Emission we built the complete ERE administration portal: a web and mobile app that lets individuals and businesses manage their ERE certificates: the CO₂ reduction from green EV charging, turned into income. From 1 January 2026 the ERE system replaces the old HBE system in the Netherlands.
The challenge
Charging your EV with green power saves CO₂, but almost no one could cash in on it. As a recognised ERE booking provider, Den Hartog needed a platform that digitises the entire chain: from yield calculation and charge-point registration to authorisation, verification and payout: ready before the legal start of the ERE system.
The solution
We developed a full SaaS platform from the ground up: a React 19 frontend, Node.js/Express backend with Prisma and MariaDB, and native iOS and Android apps from a single codebase via Capacitor. With digital authorisation via iDEAL (Mollie), document verification, kWh logging with bulk import, holding/subsidiary structures with roles and real-time messaging.
